Hey Guys,

I just wanted to say that I'm still buzzing over this event! It was my first Great War event and everybody was awesome! I have no complaints and I hope to see you all in November.

Ben

P.S

Jim, thanks again for all your help and for restoring my helmet!

Hey Guys!

I am glad to hear you enjoyed yourself Ben. It was good meeting you finally. I had a blast as well.

Some of the highlights for me include:

The football game
The pay call/rum ration
The training
Watching you all go "over the top" from the Borders trench, back lit by flares
and most of all....
Catching up with old and new friends

I really think the groundwork has been set for lots of fun at future events.

What were some of the highlights for everyone else?

Hey Guys,
I had a blast at this event. Ben it was great meeting you, and look forward to the next event! Some highlights for me:

-The Football Match (even though the Borders are cheats)
-Training behind the lines
-Barely having a second to sit down and relax
-Going over the top with Dan towards the end of the event under cover of smoke while the BEF was singing God Save the King
-And like Jim just catching up with friends and laughing till your sides hurt.

Looking forward to the next event!

Neil

Guy's
I had an amazing time with all of you! As one of the kilted bretheren from the black watch, I am so glad that you kind of accept me into you unit a lil bit. My guys are old and grumpy for the most part so its nice to hang out with guys my age. also I love pyro soooooo Ive got the royal armories of the laural highlands going all summer, so put your grenade orders in now!! We will be making a shit ton of ordinace of pull pop rifle grenade and egg grenade varitey. I really think that our two units perhaps form a grenade making coalition and try, instead of mooching off of one another to acctually get a joint effort going. I think it would be good for the Gaurds to have a bomber of thier own so if anyone is willing to Join the "suicide club" with me I will be more than happy to teach them the finer points of grenade fabrication as well as the ins and outs of a ww1 bomber. I would like to see as many guys with bombs at the next event as possible so I will help whoever needs it! also I think we need to get hardcore with flash spotting at night. those machine guns can easily be taken out with my nasty little rifle grenades as the brand new IR459 maching gun found out much to thier dismay!! Their gun was "christened" by a couple of my rifle grenades at the event and for this event the daytime actions on my part will be suppression and control of those guns via Tommy Airmail. IM already psyched up for the fall event and I know its going to be another great one!! Also I need names and personal information for the letters from home so get on it boys!

Cheers!!
