Interesting little tidbit -
When giving commands the Grenadier Guards would (and I believe still do) say "Hype" instead of Arms.
I have heard it said it dates back to their early years when they carried Pikes and when yelling commands it became Hype.
So Guardsmen: Slope......Hype!
