Fall Event 2009

Postby nhobbins on Wed Oct 28, 2009 5:50 pm

Hey Guys,
The fall event is a little over a week away, and I wanted to get some discussion going about things to do. For me I have been thinking about drill, and making sure we all as a group polish up on the drill. Jim has gained permission from GWA for us to have a early morning attack on Saturday morning. Max is planning it on the German side, and the idea is for us to jump off between 5:30 and 6:00 AM. Obviously it is not mandatory, but it is something different. If there is interest, I wouldn't mind spending the nite in the trenchs. What other ideas can we get going to enhance our experience?

On another note, some of us have been out at Newville working on our trenches and our non-bunker. There is still a lot of work to do, and hopefully we will get some of it completed this weekend. It gives the trenches a whole new look, and I know I am excited to have it completed.

I hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to seeing you guys next weekend!

I am really excited about the event. It should be an excellent time. I plan on arriving very early on Thursday morning and will be having all sorts of fun. I would highly encourage the morning attack. It will be well worth the rising early.

Friday will be a busy day as well. Drill, pay call, football challenge against the Border Section, more drill, some working parties, and prep for the offensive.

When is everyone planning on getting there?
